United States Badminton Northern California (USB NorCal) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit mainly serving Northern California communities.
Our mission is to develop and promote amateur badminton sport within its territory.
We aim to do that by:
- Organizing and operating regional, national, and international amateur badminton competition within its territory.
- Supporting and developing amateur athletes for regional, national and international competition in badminton sport.
- Supporting and developing tournament officials in accordance with international badminton tournament standards.

About us
USB NorCal was founded in 2015, with the support of volunteers from all walks of life. Past and current volunteers include seasoned tournament officials, experienced coaches, and amateur recreational badminton ethusiasts actively involved in badminton for many years.
Currently, USB NorCal is run by a group of badminton-passionate friends that regularly still play on a casual level in their lives. They hope to share their passion and love for the sport with the community through the mission of USB NorCal.
USB NorCal's mission is to develop and promote amateur badminton in Northern California. While we prioritize junior badminton, we also support all types of badminton activities and events. All activities are funded solely by individual and corporate contributions and income from administering tournaments.
Becoming a sponsor
USB NorCal plans to host annual tournaments as fundraising events, and is always seeking out sponsors who have the same goals as us.
